Optimum pre-positioning analysis tool: Nepal case study

The ESUPS project recently released a report containing recommendations for establishing a national coordinated pre-positioning strategy for Nepal (you can consult the report here).

In this session, ESUPS will explain how the report was put together, from the interaction with humanitarian actors in Nepal to the final structure and outcomes of the report.

The session will also provide a demonstration of the analysis tool used by ESUPS, elaborated by Penn State University. This tool will allow national actors to see which warehouses in the country are overstocked or understocked, where are the gaps and what would be the cost implications to implement the recommendations provided by ESUPS.
