The STOCKHOLM platform recently underwent its most significant transformation since it was introduced in 2019.
Officially launched at the recent Humanitarian Network and Partnerships Week, the update enhances the platform’s usefulness and user-friendliness.
The STOCKHOLM platform is now even better equipped to support the humanitarian organisations around the world who carry out vital stock prepositioning activities.
Below is a summary of the changes that are now live on the platform.
New design
One of the most noticeable upgrades is the platform’s new design. STOCKHOLM now features a modern logo, a fresh color palette, as well as a lighter, brighter interface. These aesthetic enhancements make navigating the platform a more pleasant experience, contributing to an enhanced overall user experience.
Simplified navigation
We’ve also restructured the menu for easier navigation. The new menu layout is designed to help users find what they need more quickly and intuitively, to streamline workflows and save time. We have also strengthened the Help menu, giving users the support they need when using the platform.
Added functionalities
We have introduced several new functionalities to STOCKHOLM based on user feedback. You can now bulk upload stock information, making data entry quicker and more efficient. Additionally you can save your favorite searches on the stock mapping page, making it easier to access frequently-searched information.
Resources for users
To assist users in navigating the new interface, updated STOCKHOLM User Guides are now available. These guides provide step-by-step instructions on utilising the platform’s features, including the newly-added functionalities. Translated versions of the Guides will be available soon.
Greater impact on stock prepositioning
The improvements to STOCKHOLM are designed to facilitate the creation of more effective national stock prepositioning strategies. By enabling easier addition and viewing of prepositioned relief items at local, national, regional, and global levels, STOCKHOLM becomes an even more valuable tool for humanitarian logistics and emergency preparedness.
