Once again, the annual HNPW (Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks) is approaching. The event will be held in a hybrid format from 17 to 28 April: 17-21 April remotely, 24-28 April face-to-face at the CICG in Geneva.
With over 200 face-to-face sessions and over 60 remote sessions scheduled so far, the event programme covers critical themes in the humanitarian sector, ranging from Climate Crisis, to Anticipatory Action, Localisation and Coordination.
This year, ESUPS will host a joint session together with International Humanitarian City, IMPACCT, UNCTAD and the Logistics Cluster.
Title: Digitalization and artifical intelligence supporting relief operations, emergency preparedness and response.
Date and time: Tuesday, 25 April from 14:00 to 17:30 Geneva time (CET)
Please register HERE.
The session will demonstrate the interoperability among four existing digital tools: STOCKHOLM platform (ESUPS), the Humanitarian Logistics Databank (IHC), the LogIE platform (Logistics Cluster) and ASYREC (UNCTAD).
Focusing on stocks and access to relief items, we will run the audience through a disaster scenario to illustrate the added value of using these tools in a coordinated and complementary way. We will also discuss how this can enhance humanitarian readiness, response operations and preparedness. Government entities, including NDMAs, the humanitarian community and the private sector are all invited to take part in the discussion.
You can join the session either in person in Geneva or remotely (a link will be provided in due course). Please don’t forget to register. In this way, you will receive reminders on the session date and time, as well as the link to connect remotely.
A recording of the session will also be available after the event.
If you are in Geneva, come visit our stand at the CICG Exhibition Area on the ground floor to learn more about our respective digital initiatives.
Looking forward to seeing you in Geneva or online!
