Taking stock: evaluating the ESUPS approach to prepositioning

As the humanitarian gap grows wider, we must find better ways to meet needs across the globe.

ESUPS is undertaking an evaluation of the approach and the mechanism we use for facilitating the optimization of stock prepositioning, the STOCKHOLM platform.

To complete this evaluation, ESUPS has partnered with researchers from the Center for Humanitarian Logistics and Regional Development (CHORD), a joint initiative of Kühne Logistics University (KLU) and HELP Logistics.

We we will be conducting online interviews to help us understand the needs and challenges around stock prepositioning, and the use of digital tools to support cross-organizational coordination and aligned decision-making.

Contributions to the evaluation will help us assess the relevance, effectiveness and sustainability of the ESUPS project, and help shape the future of humanitarian logistics.

To be part of the project and anonymously share your thoughts and opinions, please reach out directly to the researchers at CHORD:

Eida Ouchtar (English, French, and Spanish speaking): eida.ouchtar@klu.org
Carolin Winter (English speaking): carolin.winter@klu.org

Your experience and perspective are of great value to advance the STOCKHOLM platform and ESUPS’ efforts in optimizing prepositioning strategies for all humanitarian actors.

We look forward to sharing results when the evaluation is complete.
